Mera Peak Climbing

Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal attracting more and more climbing every year. The views of from summit of Mera Peak is incredible and unimaginable. Mera Peak Climbing needs basic experiences of using gears and some experiences of icy adventures to conquer to summit. Situated in Khumbu valley, Mera Peak is one of the finest adventurous routes available today for adventure seekers. Mera Peak climbing is more like a high altitude trekking seeking some experienced trekkers with basic technical knowledge. Apart from Climbing, the trekking route to Mera Peak is superb itself. From the summit of Mera Peak it is possible to see incredible views of Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyo.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel, cultural dinner in the evening

Day 02: Visit Swyambhunath, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square, preparation of the trek

Day 03: Fly to Lukla and trek to Puiyan

Day 04: Trek to Pangom

Day 05: Trek to Nashi Dingma

Day 06: Trek to Chalem Kharka

Day 07: Acclimatisation day at Chalem Kharka

Day 08: Trek to Chunbu Kharka

Day 09: Trek into the Hinku valley near Kote

Day 10: Trek to Tagnag

Day 11: First rest and acclimatisation day in Tagnag, can do some day hikes

Day 12: Trek to Khare

Day 13: Second rest and acclimatisation day in Khare

Day 14: Climb to Mera La

Day 15: Climb to High Camp, prepare the final climbing

Day 16: Climb to Mera Peak summit and trek back to Khare

Day 17: Spare day for bad weather and summit failures

Day 18: Return to Kote

Day 19: Trek to Thuli Kharka

Day 20: Trek to Lukla, celebrate the last night in the Himalayan

Day 21: Fly to Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel

Day 22: Leisure or buffer day in Kathmandu

Day 23: Departure from Kathmandu
