Nepal is a geographically vast country having various terrains throughout the country. Nepal is basically divided into three different parts in terms of geographic structures; Mountains, Hilly region and the Terai. The high Himalayan area is situated on the top of Nepal map, starts from 2,500 meters and touches Tibetan border to the north includes high altitude trekking routes and several Himalayan peaks including Mt. Everest (8,848 meters). This area is popular for amazing white Himalayas popular among the Mountaineers from all over the world. Similarly, the hilly region from 1,000 meters to 2,500 meters is popular for several hill stations, hilly towns, green forests and some mid ranged trekking routes. The Terai region is popular for various jungle safari tours and some religious places. We are mentioning about few popular places of interest below:

Kathmandu Valley: The Kathmandu valley is the most popular area within Nepal as the only international airport is situated inside the valley covered by towering hills on 360 degree panorama. This valley is known as the town of temples as thousands of temples can be witnessed within the valley. This beautiful valley includes three big towns; i.e. Kathmandu itself, Bhaktapur and Patan. All these places are popular for historic temples, palaces and religious sites.

Pokhara: Pokhara is located at 200 KM west of the Kathmandu valley popular as the starting point of breath taking Annapurna region trekking routes. This town is known as the second most popular destination for tourists visiting Nepal for it's beautiful scenery and amazing views of snowy Himalayan peaks. Various activities can be done in Pokhara i.e. Paragliding, Bungee Jumping, trekking, sightseeing tours, boating etc. Pokhara is also known for its cleanliness among travelers.

Nagarkot: Nagarkot is a small hill station 32KM, North East from Kathmandu valley. Nagarkot is popular for magnificent Himalayan panoramic views and the golden sunrise and sunset. Several hotels / lodges are established in this place for traveler's accommodation and meals.

Dhulikhel: Dhulikhel is very similar to Nagarkot as this is another popular hill station 30KM away from Kathmandu, situated along Kathmandu - Kodari highway. This place is also popular witnessing for Himalayan range. When the sky is definite blue and the haze covers the lower sections of the Himalayas, it looks like the snowy peaks are floating in the water.
