Shuklaphanta Jungle Safari

Shukla Phanta Wildlife Reserve is protected area in the far western region of Nepal. It is one of the reserved areas in lowland area of Terai region. Long time ago the region was famous among royal families for hunting. Shukla Phanta Wildlife reserve is home for many protected species. Currently there are 46 mammal species identified in the reserve and 18 of them are protected under CITES. These protected species includes the Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, sloth bear, swamp deer, elephant, hispid hare etc. Sometime ago few one horned rhinos were also taken to Shukla Phanta Wildlife reserve. The reserve is also home for more than 400 types of birds like Bengal Floricans, Swamp Francolin, Jerdon's Bushchat, Rufous-rumped Grassbird, Chestnut-capped Babbler, Jerdon's Babbler.

Bardia Jungle Safari

Bardia is second popular destination for jungle safari in Nepal. It is one of the biggest and undisturbed wildlife reserves in Nepal situated in lowland Nepal. Even the reserve is biggest it's not much explored comparing to Chitwan National Park. Bardia National Park is a bit hard to access and also far form major tourist hubs; Kathmandu and Pokhara which is the main reason for Bardia not visited by many tourists. This wildlife reserve is home of many endangered animals such as Bengal tiger, wild elephant, rhinoceros, swamp deer, black-buck, Gharial crocodile, marsh mugger crocodile and Gangetic dolphin. Bardia region; the headquarter of many animals contains eight types of ecosystems. Bardia Wildlife Reserve is also home of many birds numbering at least 407. Himalayan Leisure, Inc glad to plan a special trip to Bardia for travelers wishing to experience beautiful safari experience in Nepal. There are fewer westerners around Bardia. Bardia jungle safari has higher chances of seeing rhino, wild elephants, even a Bengal tiger (although the odds of seeing a tiger are still remote). The National Park has several remote watch towers. Waiting from these towers will increase the chances of spotting animals. Bardia is descent place for people looking for safari programs for 3/4 days.

Koshi Tappu Bird Watching

Koshi Tappu Wilflife Reserve is protected area in eastern Terai with numerous beautiful birds. The reserve is also home of many wildlife. In this reserve one will get splendid moments to enjoy some of the enchanting birds. The protected area is inhabited by many floras and faunas such as more than 200 types of fishes, toad species, different types of frogs, few types of lizards, some types of snakes, more than ten turtle species and as well as Gharial and Mugger crocodiles. October to January is best months to visit this reserve as it will be a descent season. The protected reserve is home of nearly 500 types if birds so it's counted as one of the popular destinations for bird watching in Nepal.

Parsa Jungle Safari

Parsa jungle safari is an wild opportunity to experience wildlife of Nepal. This protected area is situated in lowland region of Nepal. The region has large number of wild Asian elephants. Parsa wildlife reserve is home for many Royal Bengal tiger, Sloth bear, and Leopard. Blue bull, Sambar, Chital, Hog deer, Barding deer, Langur, Rhesus macaques, striped hyena, Jungle cat, and Palm civet. Nearly 300 types of birds are found in the reserve and some of them are Giant hornbill, peafowl, red jungle fowl, flycatchers, woodpeckers. This reserve also has numerous reptiles. Parsa wildlife reserve is situated in easily accessed location though the reserve is not popular like Chitwan Jungle Safari. October to December is the best time to visit Parsa Wildlife Reserve however as the place has easy access it can be accessed throughout the year. The forests includes tropical and subtropical species.
