As we complete steep uphill, the risks of dry landslide will also become higher. We will need to be aware of stones falling down from the cliffs. Once we cross this risky area the route again becomes gentle up before we reach Phedi. We can stay here tonight and prepare crossing the pass, continuing for another 40-45 minutes will take us to high camp which is about 400 meters higher than Phedi.

There are two tea shops which offers 'world's most expensive tea' but that's special. A warm tea in this altitude and in this place is so special. Walking for few hours we will reach the highest point of the trek named 'Thorong La' means a pass. It won't be difficult to recognize the pass as it's surrounded by praying flags. We will enjoy some hot tea here and start walking steep downhill towards Muktinath. It is steep downhill walk with some mountain views far sight. This trekking is slightly longer trek that required high effort everyday to complete the route. Both in terms of Altitude and Trail, the trek is quite difficult for most trekkers. Trekking to Annapurna Circuit involves crossing of Thorong La Pass at an altitude of 5,416M / 17,769FT which can cause altitude sickness to travelers from sea level. An easy, gentle and slow ascending is recommended to reduce the chances of altitude sickness. The trail is wide, clear and astounding due to several factors. The trail specially after Manang is easier in comparison but as you will be walking in high altitude area, short of breathing, fast heartbeat, continuous tired feeling etc. can occur. Annapurna Circuit Trek is an enjoyable trekking route, it's a descent trekking experience however numerous hours of walking and high altitude can make the trail hard to many people.
