Indigenous People Trail Trek is another newly developed trekking route not far from Kathmandu. This spectacular middle hill trek is located inside the Lesser Himalaya range. Indigenous People Trail is a unique trekking route which has seen only a minimum number of tourists. The trail is a low altitude trekking compared to other trekking routes of Nepal but 3,000 meters can be considered a high altitude for people who is living at sea level. Indigenous people trek offers you a chance to stay in local houses and small community lodges far from the commercialized trekking routes of Annapurna, Everest and Langtang. Though many facilities are not available along the route, Indigenous People Trail Trek offers accommodation and meals at community lodges which is enough to experience the wonder of this beautiful region.
